In January every year at the BETT show you will discover new bits of technology that companies are encouraging you to purchase for your school. Many of them look really interesting, and as professional educators we can quickly make a swift evaluation of how useful, or otherwise, these device may be. But when you are thinking of spending a few thousand pounds, the educational value of a piece of equipment becomes paramount.

The aim of this course is to look at a few of these newer technologies and highlight the research and trialling activities that have been undertaken, in an effort to provide you with a firmer basis on which to make your spending decisions.
